Efficiency and advanced logistics: the new photovoltaic system for Tetra Pak Italia

Tetra Pak Italia, a global leader in food processing and packaging solutions, has taken a decisive step toward improving the energy sustainability of its site.

The main challenge of the project was not only technical, but above all logistical and organizational: it was essential to install a large-scale system while minimizing disruption to daily site operations and coordinating in real time with ongoing roof waterproofing renovation works.

► Technical Features

Performance, Reliability, and Innovation: the figures behind a high-efficiency system.

 

The infrastructure developed by BayWa r.e. Power Solutions features the following characteristics:

 

  • Covered surface area: 4,200 m² of photovoltaic modules installed across two industrial buildings at the plant.

  • Estimated energy production: 980,000 kWh/year of clean, renewable energy.

  • System integration: During the engineering and design phase, the new system was fully integrated and coordinated with the existing photovoltaic installation located on the parking area canopies.
