Mercedes-Benz Italia: The Photovoltaic System at the Rome North Headquarters

BayWa r.e. Power Solutions designed and installed a tailor-made photovoltaic system, specifically developed for the needs of the site located north of Rome. Large automotive headquarters and logistics hubs require a constant and reliable energy supply to support operational flows and infrastructure management.

The company needed a structured solution to reduce electricity costs by 35% while simultaneously achieving the brand’s ambitious global decarbonization targets, eliminating over 281 tons of CO2 emissions per year.

The project’s distinctive feature lies in its highly precise construction management and workflow coordination: installation was carried out in strategic phases and scheduled time windows. This smart approach made it possible to avoid any interference with vehicle handling and internal logistics, ensuring full operational continuity throughout the site.
