People are the key asset of our Group

The President A. Belloni and CEO R. Ruggiero told "Il Corriere della Sera" on 26/4/20 about their decision to continue the Corporate Social Responsability policy that has always been part of FERVO's corporate mission: people are the key asset of our Group.

The Italian Group FERVO specialises in facility and energy management, drawing together the professional skills of four different companies: FSI, ECO2ZONE, VME and RECLEAN. The Group has chosen to pay an advance to 250 of its 510 employees, to cover the April quota due from INPS towards the temporary redundancy fund.

Delays in processing payments by INPS towards the Wages Guarantee Fund (CIG) would have a serious impact on the cash flow situation for collaborators, hence the decision to stand by those who are the lifeblood of our companies.

The workers offer their thanks. For us, they are the Group's key assets.

As Rocco Ruggiero, CEO of FERVO explained: "Immediately after we announced that the Group would be making an advance payment towards the redundancy fund, we received a gratifying message of thanks from the workers. We sell services that are provided by people, they are the key to our business. We are happy that our contribution has provided a breathing space for those families who would otherwise have found themselves in difficulty."

The advance will be substantial and payable to all workers involved in the redundancy fund plan, adopted in response to the performance of the various market segments in which the companies in the FERVO Group operate. It will, therefore, apply to: 100% of VME and ECO2ZONE workers, 26% of RECLEAN workers, and 95% of FSI workers and employees of the FERVO holding company; and will involve all company roles, managers, staff and operators.

Mr. Ruggero added: "As soon as the emergency began, we also offered support to our customers by providing practical services to protect the health and safety of their employees: the sanitation of air treatment systems, closed environments and outdoor areas; the design and construction of plexiglass screens to maintain the correct distance between workers, and much more besides. We are confident of a recovery very soon, allowing us to return to a calm and normal situation."
