Tailor-made sustainability: the photovoltaic system of F.I.P. (Aliaxis Group) in Genoa

BayWa r.e. Power Solutions designed and installed a tailor-made photovoltaic system specifically developed for the needs of the Ligurian plant. Injection molding industrial processes are well known for being highly energy-intensive.

The company required a structured solution to reduce electricity costs while also achieving the Group’s ambitious sustainability targets (a 75% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2025).

The distinctive feature of the project lies in the optimization of both space and installation time: an integrated electrical substation was built inside a shipping container, housing all components and a dedicated inverter area. The system was delivered ready to use, minimizing disruption to production during the construction phase.
